The energy storage brake air chamber in the composite brake air chamber connected to the handbrake valve is also connected to the atmosphere through the quick release valve. The energy storage spring releases its elastic force, pushing the brake push rod to generate braking force on the wheel brake to achieve parking brake. After starting the car, the air pressure in the brake system reaches a certain value, the handbrake valve is released, and the compressed air enters the parking brake air chamber of the strong spring parking brake through the relay valve, compressing the strong spring and releasing the parking brake. If the service brake system fails, the handbrake valve can act as an emergency brake valve. The driver controls the opening of the relay valve by operating the handbrake valve, thereby controlling the compressed air pressure entering the parking brake air chamber, causing the strong spring to partially extend, generating partial braking force, and slowing down the vehicle.
