1)Rod dust seals keep hydraulic fluid clean by preventing contaminants such as dust, mud and water from entering the cylinder and damaging the rod and bumper seals. Contaminated hydraulic oil can damage machine surfaces and clog filters, shortening the life of the hydraulic cylinder.
