►How to use Nihon Kohden TL-201T SpO2 Sensor

1. Connect the sensor: Connect the cable plug of the TL-201T sensor to the SpO2 port of a compatible monitor (such as Nihon Kohden's bedside monitor or portable device).

Check the device status: Make sure the monitor and sensor are powered on and the sensor is not physically damaged (such as cable breakage, deformed clip).

2. Patient preparation
Choose a finger: Usually choose the index finger, middle finger, or ring finger, and make sure the nail is not covered (such as no nail polish, false nails, or dirt).

Clean the finger: Wipe the finger with an alcohol pad to remove grease or stains, and ensure that the sensor has good contact with the skin.

3. Wear the sensor
Open the clip: Gently press the tail of the clip to open the clip.

Place the finger:

Insert the patient's finger into the clip, making sure the nail is facing up (the sensor light source is usually above the clip and the detector is below).
