Description

KWFS water flow switch is a flow switch made of composite material housing, with a protection level of IP65, which can meet relatively harsh operating environments, while ensuring its stability during operation and increasing its service life, thereby reducing customer usage costs.

The working principle is that the target type (baffle type) flow switch is used to detect one-way or two-way flow of air, oil, and water. There should be no entangled debris in the medium. When the fluid flows through the pipe, the baffle deflects. By adjusting the adjusting bolt, the single pole double throw microswitch operates at the set flow rate and outputs a switching signal; During bidirectional detection, the baffle offset pushes the magnetic module upward, driving the switch module to act. Used to detect unidirectional flow of air and water, and there should be no entangled debris in the water. When the fluid flows through the pipe in the indicated direction, the baffle deflects. By adjusting the adjusting bolt, the single pole double throw microswitch operates at the set flow rate and outputs a switching signal. Large set flow range and convenient adjustment are widely used for measuring water, gas, oil, and other media.

Electrical Wiring

Installation

The flow switch can be installed in every position far from elbows or throttlings, with arrow on flow direction. If pipe is vertical, recalibrate range to balance paddle weight. If the device is downwards mounted, take care to slags and apply it in a straight pipe that is far from filters,valves,etc.,with length at least 5 times the diameter of pipe upstream and downstream the unit.

Note:
The flow switch is factory calibrated at its minimum sensitivity.To increase the set valve,turn the adjustment screw clockwise.The cut-out valve must be ≥the minimum flow necessary to guarantee the protection of the plant.
