The SNQ-3578 is a high-performance camera module distinguished by its unique T-Shape printed circuit board (PCB) architecture, which combines a compact circular front with an extended rectangular rear. It is built around the Sony IMX385 sensor, which features a large 1/1.8-inch optical format for superior image quality, light capture, and dynamic range. It outputs high-resolution 1080p video at 60 frames per second, making it suitable for high-speed and professional-grade imaging applications. This module is intended for OEMs and integrators who require top-tier performance and have the capability to design custom housings for specialized form factors.

This module deviates from standard square designs:

• Front Section: A 25mm diameter circle that houses the image sensor.

• Rear Section: A 25mm by 42mm rectangular board that contains the main processor, memory, and connection interfaces.

• Integration Note: This unique shape requires a custom-designed housing for proper mounting and protection.

The 1/1.8-inch Sony IMX385 sensor is significantly larger than those typically found in standard security cameras. This larger size allows for:

• Larger Pixels (3.75µm): Which capture more light, leading to better low-light performance and a higher signal-to-noise ratio.

• Improved Image Quality: Generally better color depth, dynamic range, and overall image clarity.

The module captures and outputs video at 60 frames per second (fps). This high frame rate is essential for reducing motion blur and capturing clear, detailed images of fast-moving objects or processes.
