The Allen-Bradley 2090-CPBM4E2-14TR is a CompactBlock™ 4-port coiled tubing coil manifold base, a specialized and robust component from the Allen-Bradley 2090 Compact I/O system. This base is specifically engineered for demanding industrial environments where valves and other pneumatic devices need to be connected directly to the I/O system. Its primary function is to provide a secure and organized interface between a PLC's electronic outputs and the pneumatic actuators on a machine, consolidating wiring and reducing potential leak points.

A key feature of this model is its integrated 4-port 5/2-way solenoid valve manifold, which is pre-assembled with 14-foot (approximately 4.3-meter) coiled trailing cables for both the valve solenoids and the feedback sensors. These coiled cables are highly durable and designed to extend and retract without tangling, making this base an ideal solution for applications with moving machine parts, such as on robotic arms, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), or sliding doors. The assembly is built to withstand harsh conditions, including exposure to oils, coolants, and mechanical stress, ensuring reliable operation in automotive, material handling, and other heavy-duty automation applications.

The Allen-Bradley 2090-CPBM4E2-14TR is a valve base assembly that includes four 5/2-way single solenoid valves with individual pilot indicators. The valves operate with a standard supply pressure range from 30 to 120 PSI. The assembly is pre-wired with two 14-foot long coiled trailing cables; one 4-conductor cable for supplying 24V DC power to the four valve solenoids, and one 8-conductor cable providing a common and individual return lines for the four valve feedback sensors.

The electrical connections are designed for 24V DC operation for both the solenoid coils and the sensor feedback. The base is constructed from a high-strength, chemical-resistant polymer for durability and features plug-in, cartridge-style valves for easy maintenance and replacement. It is designed to mount directly onto a machine and interfaces with the Allen-Bradley Compact I/O system. The assembly is rated for use in an ambient temperature range of -10°C to 50°C and is certified for use in various industrial markets, carrying approvals such as UL and CE.
