Scope of Application
The geotextile thickness measuring instrument is used to determine the thickness of smooth geotextiles and other plastic films under specified pressure and time. The sample is placed on the reference plate, and a circular pressing foot parallel to the reference plate is used to apply the specified pressure to the sample for a certain period of time. Then, the vertical distance between the two plates is measured. The thickness of the geotextile is expressed as the average value of the test results.
