1. Introduction

IK Vertical hammer is a professional tool designed according to IEC60068-2-75 test Ehc for high energy mechanical impact tests, it can perform the IK07 to IK11 tests as per IEC62262. The vertical hammer can only be used on accessible horizontal surfaces. The vertical hammer is basically consists of a striking element and a guideway.

Vertical hammers are widely used in mechanical hammer impact tests to assess the mechanical impact strength of products such as luminaires, household appliances, EVCS (Electric Vehicle Charging Stations), and more. 1). The vertical impact test apparatus offers the flexibility to customize the travel height. With a regular height range of 0 - 1000mm, it can be adjusted to fit different heights of impact points.
