25G SFP28 BIDI 10KM is a high-performance Optical Transceiver Module designed for 25G Ethernet applications. It supports data rates up to 25.78 Gbps over single-mode fiber with a reach of up to 10 km. This optical module integrates advanced diagnostic features and operates efficiently across commercial and industrial temperature ranges, making it ideal for demanding data center and enterprise environments.
The module complies with SFP28 MSA, SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and SFF-8472 standards. It features a DML laser transmitter and PIN/TIA receiver with internal Clock and Data Recovery (CDR) for jitter reduction. The device is Class I laser safety compliant and supports CML electrical interfaces.
The Optical Transceiver Module converts electrical signals into optical signals for transmission over fiber. The transmitter uses a DFB laser modulated by input data, while the receiver uses a PIN photodiode and TIA to convert incoming light back into electrical signals. Integrated CDR circuits ensure signal integrity and low bit error rates.
