Introduction
The manual friction color fading tester is lightweight and portable, meeting the specifications required for standard friction fading tests, such as finger size, friction force (weight), and stroke. Moreover, this tester can be used to test different materials ranging from fabrics to plastics, for assessing the degree of color transfer from colored materials to other materials surfaces after friction. The acrylic friction finger is keyed to prevent rotation during testing and can be replaced. The unique feature of the equipment lies in this design, which allows the operator to test samples on any part of the bolt or hidden areas without having to cut the samples off.
The detection travel is controlled through the narrow slot at the bottom of the tester. The load is controlled by the calibrated weights, and the sample position is controlled by the serrated edge, which keeps the device fixed. It is equipped with a toolbox, which contains a bottle of deionized water and several sample testing cloths.
