Product Overview
Our FR Boards are flame-retardant panels, made from polyphenylene
sulfide with the addition of flame-retardant components. It
maintains functionality under extreme conditions, including high
temperature, flame and corrosion, minimizing accident risks.
Compared with traditional flame-retardant boards, our products are
lighter, reducing overall equipment weight.
Core Performance
PP flame-retardant boards are made from polypropylene (PP) as the
base material, processed by adding flame retardants or using
special techniques to achieve flame-retardant properties. They have
good flame-retardant effects, effectively delaying or inhibiting
the spread of flames, and meet relevant flame-retardant grade
standards such as UL94 V0/V1 and GB/T 2408. When exposed to open
flames, they are not easy to burn continuously, and produce little
smoke and few toxic gases during combustion. Meanwhile, they retain
the original toughness and strength of PP materials, with good
impact resistance, being not easy to break and able to withstand
certain external collisions or squeezes. They also have good
resistance to acids, alkalis, salt spray, organic solvents, etc.,
are not easy to be corroded, and are suitable for use in humid or
chemically polluted environments. In addition, they are
lightweight, easy to cut, weld, bend, print and process into
different shapes and sizes according to needs. Their surfaces are
flat and smooth, facilitating subsequent decoration or logo
printing. They also have certain resistance to high and low
temperatures (usually stable in environments from -20℃ to 80℃), are
not easy to deform due to temperature changes, and have strong UV
aging resistance, making them suitable for various indoor and
outdoor scenarios.
Applications
Thanks to the aforementioned properties and advantages, PP
flame-retardant boards are widely used in fields requiring fire
resistance, safety, and weather resistance. In the construction and
decoration sector, they can be used to make indoor partitions, wall
decorative panels, ceiling materials, etc., and are especially
suitable for crowded places such as shopping malls, hotels, and
office buildings, which can reduce fire hazards. They can also
serve as interior panels for elevator cabs, cable tray partitions,
etc., meeting building fire safety regulations. In the electronics
and electrical industry, they can be used as enclosures for
electronic equipment, partition boards for distribution boxes,
cable protection sleeves, etc., utilizing their flame retardancy
and insulation to protect circuits and equipment from fire threats.
In the transportation field, they are used in interior parts of
vehicles such as cars, ships, and subways (such as seat backboards,
luggage compartment partitions, and ventilation ducts), which can
reduce the spread of fire and smoke hazards when vehicles catch
fire. In the industrial and warehousing sector, they can be made
into workshop partitions, equipment protective covers, inner lining
boards for dangerous goods storage cabinets, etc., and are
particularly suitable for environments with flammable substances or
chemical corrosion such as chemical industry, pharmaceutical
industry, and warehousing, meeting both fire resistance and
corrosion resistance needs. In public facilities, they serve as
signboards, display boards in public places (such as subway station
guide signs, shopping mall fire safety publicity boards), trash can
enclosures, etc., which not only meet fire safety requirements but
also are easy to clean and maintain. In the new energy field, they
are applied in components such as lithium battery storage cabinets
and charging pile enclosures, using their flame retardancy and
chemical resistance to reduce the risk of battery fires. In
conclusion, PP flame-retardant boards are a multi-functional
material integrating flame retardancy, durability, economy, and
ease of processing. With the increasing emphasis on fire safety,
their application scenarios are constantly expanding to more
industries.
