• Function

1.Absorbing fuel: The fuel pump is usually installed in the fuel tank or connected to the fuel tank. It uses the power of the internal motor or other driving mechanisms to suck fuel from the fuel tank. For example, in an electric fuel pump, the DC motor drives the impeller to rotate, creating a vacuum at the inlet, which sucks in the filtered fuel.

2.Pressurizing fuel: After absorbing the fuel, the fuel pump pressurizes it to ensure that the fuel can flow smoothly through the fuel pipeline, fuel filter, and other components, and reach the fuel injector or other parts that need fuel. This pressure can make the fuel be injected into the engine cylinder in a better atomized state, which is conducive to combustion.
