The excavator swing motor is the core power component for realizing 360° rotation of the upper body. It operates based on the hydraulic transmission principle: high-pressure oil output by the hydraulic pump enters the motor, pushes the internal plunger or gear assembly to make circular motion, converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy, and then reduces the speed and increases the torque through the reduction mechanism, finally driving the slewing ring to rotate the upper frame. Its core function is to precisely control the horizontal steering of the excavator bucket and boom, ensuring smooth and efficient actions such as excavation, rotation, and unloading. It also has an overload protection function, which can automatically adjust the pressure when the load is too large to avoid component damage, making it a key component to ensure the operational flexibility and safety of the excavator.
