  1. Q: For a soil slope with a slope ratio of 1:1.5, what type of Geocell is suitable for ecological slope protection, and how to match it with vegetation?
A: For a 1:1.5 soil slope, choose HDPE Geocell with a cell height of 75 - 100mm and a cell side length of 300mm. The filling material should be a mixture of topsoil, organic fertilizer, and water - retaining agent (ratio 90:8:2). For vegetation matching, select cold - resistant and drought - tolerant herbaceous plants (such as tall fescue and ryegrass) and low - shrubs (such as Lespedeza and Cotoneaster). The grass seeds should be sown at a rate of 20 - 30g/m², and the shrubs should be planted at a spacing of 500mm × 500mm.
  1. Q: How to install Geocell on a steep slope (slope ratio 1:1) to prevent sliding during construction?
A: First, clean the slope surface and remove loose soil and rocks. Then, drill anchor holes (diameter 50mm, depth 500mm) on the slope at a spacing of 1000mm × 1000mm, and insert steel anchors (diameter 20mm, length 600mm) into the holes, fixing them with cement mortar. Unfold the Geocell on the slope, connect adjacent panels with clips, and fix the Geocell to the anchors. Fill the Geocell from the bottom of the slope to the top in layers (each layer height ≤ 500mm), and compact each layer with a manual tamper to ensure stability.
