Application

The DNT type integrated belt sludge thickener and dewatering machine is designed for thickening and dewatering surplus sludge or mixed sludge generated from biochemical treatment processes in municipal wastewater plants. It is also suitable for sludge treatment across various industrial sectors, including manufacturing, leather, textile, chemical, and food processing.

Structure and Working Principle

The equipment consists primarily of a belt thickening section and a dewatering section. After chemical conditioning with a coagulant, the sludge is thoroughly mixed in a sludge mixer and then directed to the gravity dewatering zone. Here, under the influence of gravity, a significant portion of the free water is separated from the sludge and discharged through the gaps of the filter belt into the collection tank.

The pre-dewatered sludge is subsequently guided into a wedge-shaped pre-pressure zone, where it is evenly distributed and slightly compressed to enhance further dewatering. It then enters an S-shaped multi-roller pressing section, where the sludge is sandwiched between upper and lower filter belts and subjected to repeated shearing and compression by rollers of varying diameters. This process effectively removes additional moisture and forms dried sludge cakes.

Finally, the dewatered sludge cake is scraped off by a blade and conveyed for disposal. The upper and lower filter belts are cleaned via high-pressure water jets and recycled for continuous operation.

Main Features

1. The motor drive can be adjusted steplessly, and the operating speed can be adjusted at any time, with strong adaptability.

2. Special flushing nozzle and anti-clogging device make the filter belt clean.

3. The dewatering head roller adopts T-shaped drain groove, and the squeezed water flows out quickly.

4. The gravity dewatering section is inclined, and the static head of the sludge is enlarged, which can enhance the dewatering effect and make the sludge fully thickened before pressing.

5. The whole machine has a compact structure, automatic correction of the filter belt, low operating noise, low power consumption, low dosage, good dehydration effect, and low operating cost.

Packing and Delivery

1. Waterproof packing with the international export standard by 20ft, 40ft, 40hp container. Equipment Fittings, Electric Motor and Power Cabinet will be packed in Wooden Case or Iron Box. Other Equipment will be packed by Color-Stripes Plastic Cloth.
2. The whole plant machinery size are large as normal, so we will use Waterproof cloth to pack all of them. The motor, gear box or other easily damaged parts, we will put them into box. We have a professional shipping department, they will try their best to save your container quantity.
