Rotary Drum Precision Filter System for Wastewater Treatment – High Specific Surface Area Filtration Equipment

Introduction
The rotary drum micro filter is an advanced solid-liquid separation system designed to efficiently reduce suspended solids (SS) in wastewater. During operation, wastewater enters the hollow drum and passes by gravity from the inside to the outside through a stainless steel filter screen. Suspended solids are retained on the inner surface of the screen while the clarified effluent exits the system.
The drum rotates slowly while a backwash pump draws filtered water to clean the screen via nozzles located at the top of the drum. This reverse flow—from outside to inside—effectively dislodges accumulated solids, which are then collected in a backwash trough and discharged through a sludge outlet.

Features

1. Excellent filter media performance. The filter medium used in the filter of this equipment is stainless steel. Compared with the fiber cloth and polyester material of the turntable filter, it has many advantages: good pore uniformity, high tensile strength, fast filtering speed, long-lasting durability, not easy to block, and strong corrosiveness resistance.

2. Easy to replace the filter. The independent mesh can be removed independently without affecting other filters.

3. Strong impact resistance. The equipment can operate normally when the inlet water SS is not higher than 40mg/L1.

4. The filter can run continuously. Backwashing and filtering do not affect each other.

Packing and Delivery

1. Waterproof packing with the international export standard by 20ft, 40ft, 40hp container. Equipment Fittings, Electric Motor and Power Cabinet will be packed in Wooden Case or Iron Box. Other Equipment will be packed by Color-Stripes Plastic Cloth.
2. The whole plant machinery size are large as normal, so we will use Waterproof cloth to pack all of them. The motor, gear box or other easily damaged parts, we will put them into box. We have a professional shipping department, they will try their best to save your container quantity.
