High-pressure roller mill
The high-pressure roller mill developed by applying the lamination crushing mechanism is a typical equipment currently used in the world for crushing and grinding non-ferrous mines and oxide pellets. Features of High-Pressure Roller Grinding Machines
1. Low energy consumption per unit grinding and high production
efficiency. Because high-pressure roller grinding machines fully
utilize a laminated crushing mechanism, they offer high energy
efficiency. Compared to conventional extrusion-type ultra-fine
crushers and mills, they offer significantly improved crushing
efficiency and grinding characteristics, primarily due to the
increased contact points between particles and the resulting
increased force.
2. They can handle materials with high moisture content.
Conventional fine crushing or grinding processes require drying or
wet grinding to crush wet materials. Drying is an energy-intensive
process, while wet grinding products require sedimentation and
filtration. However, for high-pressure roller grinding machines, a
certain moisture content (less than 10%) is ideal for the material
being rolled. This not only creates a better self-generating roller
surface cushion but also extends the life of the extrusion rollers.
The carbide studded roller surfaces currently used not only
minimize wear but also offer a roller surface life of 7,000 to
30,000 hours.
