Replacement steps

1.The first step is to open the engine hood and confirm the position of the air filter. The air filter is usually located on the left side of the engine compartment, above the left front wheel. A square plastic black box can be seen inside, and the filter element is installed inside. We just need to gently lift up the two metal clips to lift up the entire air filter cover. Some car models may also use screws to fix the air filter. In this case, a suitable screwdriver needs to be selected to unscrew the screws on the air filter box. Remove the air filter

Step 2, remove the air filter and check for excessive dust. You can gently tap the end face of the filter or use compressed air to clean the dust on the filter from the inside out. Do not rinse with tap water. If the air filter is severely clogged during inspection, it needs to be replaced with a new filter (we can purchase a similar model from a 4S store or auto parts store).

3.The third step is to thoroughly clean the air filter box after processing the air filter element. Generally, a large amount of dust accumulates under the air filter, which is the culprit causing the engine power to decrease.
