• Function

1.In air systems: The pressure sensor can measure the pressure of the air within the intake manifold of a machine's engine. This pressure information helps the engine control unit (ECU) determine the amount of air entering the engine, enabling the ECU to calculate the air - fuel mixture for efficient combustion. For example, in different operating conditions of the engine, such as acceleration or deceleration, the sensor can timely sense the change of intake air pressure and provide accurate data for the ECU to adjust the air - fuel ratio.

2.In exhaust after - treatment systems: It is used to monitor the pressure in the exhaust after - treatment system. By measuring the pressure difference before and after components such as diesel particulate filters (DPFs) or selective alytic reduction (SCR) systems, it can help determine whether there is a blockage or abnormal operation in the exhaust system. If the pressure difference is too large, it may indie that the DPF is blocked and needs to be cleaned or replaced, ensuring the normal operation of the exhaust after - treatment system and reducing emissions.
