What is an Air Spring?

In simple terms, an air spring is an inflatable rubber bladder. It uses the elasticity of compressed air within a confined space to support loads and absorb shock and vibration. Its operating principle is similar to that of a car tire, but its design and purpose are completely different.

Basic Structure: It typically consists of an air bladder made of high-quality rubber (such as natural rubber) (reinforced with one or more layers of cord) and upper and lower metal cover plates (usually pressure plates).

How it works: By injecting compressed air, the internal pressure increases, generating support force and elastic deformation. The higher the pressure, the greater the load capacity and stiffness.
