Introduction:

Biuret is a product generated by deamination and condensation reaction when the temperature is higher than the melting point of urea (150-170℃) during the urea production process. The chemical formula is NH2CONHCONH2. White long flake crystals. Melting point 190℃ (decomposition), relative density 1.467 (-5/4℃). Crystals in water contain 4 molecules of crystal water, and lose water at about 110℃. Soluble in alcohol.

Uses:

Used in ruminant feed, similar to urea as a feed additive, but safer than urea. Used as pharmaceutical intermediates, growth hormones, foaming agents, and paint making.
