What is it?
A pocket spring is an individual spring encased in its own fabric
pocket. These pockets are then glued or
connected together to form a continuous spring unit. Unlike traditional interconnected spring systems
(like Bonnell or Offset coils), each pocket spring works independently.
How it Works: The "Pocket" Principle
The fabric pocket prevents the springs from touching each other.
When pressure is applied to one spring
(e.g., you sit on one spot), only that spring and the ones immediately around it compress. The others
remain largely unaffected.
