Introduction:

3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane is also known as γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane in Chinese, CAS number 919-30-2, colorless liquid. 3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane is an organosilane with an active amine group and a hydrolyzable inorganic ethoxysilyl bifunctional group. It is a colorless liquid with a special ammonia smell and is soluble in solvents such as alcohols, chain hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons.

Uses:

3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane can be used as a glass fiber treatment agent and dental adhesive, silane coupling agent, and applied to mineral-filled phenolic, polyester, epoxy, PBT, polyamide, carbonate and other thermoplastic and thermosetting resins. It can greatly improve and enhance the physical and mechanical properties of plastics such as dry and wet bending strength, compressive strength, shear strength and wet electrical properties, and improve the wettability and dispersibility of fillers in polymers. Applicable polymers include epoxy, phenolic, melamine, nylon, polyvinyl chloride, polyacrylic acid, polyurethane, polysulfide rubber, nitrile rubber, etc.
