Alloy grades 1070 and 1085 belong to the industrially pure aluminum family and are commonly used as base materials for manufacturing high-reflectivity mirror-finished aluminum sheet and strip. They offer the following key advantages as mirror-finished aluminum substrates.

Extremely High Reflectivity
1xxx-series pure aluminum has the highest reflectivity of all aluminum materials. The 1xxx series has an extremely high aluminum content—1070: ≥99.70% and 1085: ≥99.85%—and very low levels of impurities. Impurities scatter light and reduce reflectivity. The higher the purity, the stronger the specular reflectivity of visible light. After precision rolling and polishing, the surface can achieve a reflectivity approaching 90% or higher.

Excellent Machinability
Extremely good ductility and softness. High-purity aluminum is inherently soft. This makes 1070/1085 mirror aluminum sheet/strip extremely easy to process through stamping, drawing, and bending, while remaining remarkably resistant to surface defects like cracks and orange peel. This is crucial for applications requiring complex shapes, such as reflectors, lamp cups, and decorative parts. It also maintains its shape and reflective properties well after forming.

Excellent Anodizing Performance

It produces a uniform, dense, and transparent anodic oxide film. The low impurities result in a highly pure oxide film, which, especially when dyed, offers a more uniform color and high light transmittance, minimizing the impact on the reflective properties of the final product. While reflectivity decreases slightly after anodizing, the film provides protection. This is crucial for functional or decorative mirror aluminum products requiring increased surface hardness, corrosion resistance, or dyeing.

Relatively Low Cost

Compared to other 5xxx, 6xxx, and 7xxx series aluminum alloys, which often contain expensive alloying elements, pure 1xxx series aluminum generally has lower raw material and processing costs. This makes 1070/1085 mirror aluminum an economical choice for high-volume, cost-sensitive applications.

Henan Yongsheng Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. was established in 2001 and is located in the industrial cluster area of Gongyi City, Henan Province. It covers an area of 780,000 square meters and currently has 2,000 employees. Our factory have 9 cold rolling production lines, 41 casting rolling machines, one 1850 double-coil hot rolling machine, one 260-meter roll coating thick plate production line, two fully automatic spraying production lines, three color-coated thin plate production lines, more than 100 sets of aluminum single panel processing equipment including CNC bending machines, CNC shearing machines, CNC engraving machines and fully automatic turret punching machines. It also has a stock of 6,000 tons of 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th series curtain base materials. It is capable of processing and producing various special-shaped aluminum single panels such as punched panels, engraved panels and double-curved panels. The daily output is 3,000 square meters and the monthly output can reach 100,000 square meters, fully meeting the various needs of customers.
