1. Air Spring Installation Location
Replacing Traditional Leaf Springs: Some trailers use air springs directly as the main suspension system, replacing steel leaf springs or coil springs.

Auxiliary Suspension (Stacking): Air springs are added to the existing suspension system to provide additional support when loaded (commonly used on heavy-duty trailers or RVs).
