I. Process Overview
Punching of galvanized color coated coils is a deep processing
procedure that uses CNC punching equipment to form regular or
customized holes on the sheet surface. Relying on the coating
protection and weather resistance of galvanized color coated coils,
combined with precision punching technology, this process can not
only retain the anti-corrosion and aesthetic advantages of the base
material but also endow the product with additional functions such
as ventilation, light transmission, and decoration.
II. Detailed Production Process
Raw Material Pretreatment
Uncoil, level, and cut the galvanized color coated coil to size to
ensure the flatness tolerance of the sheet is ≤0.5mm/m, and remove
surface dust and impurities to avoid scratching the coating or
affecting punching precision during the punching process.
Mold and Equipment Debugging
Customize special punching molds according to customer
requirements, install them on CNC punching machines, debug mold
clearance (controlled at 0.02–0.05mm), punching pressure and
positioning coordinates, and set core parameters such as hole
diameter and hole pitch.
Precision Punching Forming
Use an automatic feeding system to send the sheet to the punching
station, and complete hole processing through continuous punching.
The key precision indicators are as follows:
Hole diameter tolerance: ±0.05mm for holes of Φ2–Φ20mm; ±0.1mm for
holes of Φ21–Φ50mm
Hole pitch tolerance: ±0.1mm
Burr height at punching edge: ≤0.02mm
Post-treatment Process
After punching, deburr, grind the edges and corners, perform
touch-up painting protection on the cuts (optional), and finally
clean, dry, re-coil or cut to size to ensure no damage to the
product surface and no peeling of the coating.

Perforated exterior wall decorative panels, indoor ceiling
sound-absorbing panels, partition screens: Utilize holes to achieve
