In 2006, the founder of AVID combined the design concepts of Ritveld with the fundamental theories of Bauhaus and officially established AVID Customization. With the goal of creating the best integrated home space solution for high-end customization in China, it integrates the Chinese market and, relying on years of technological and cultural accumulation in Europe, Catering to the high-end consumer group in China, it brings a comfortable, healthy and higher-quality home life to middle and upper-class families in China. In 2018, AVID planned and laid out a Flexible 4.0 smart factory in Hefei, China. At the same time, it introduced the vertical integrated information system for cabinet production, which was meticulously developed by Germany. In 2020, the concept of "Ecological High-End Customization Master" for the high-end custom home furnishing industry in China was proposed. AVID adheres to the spirit of German precision manufacturing, the design theory of Bauhaus, and the minimalist and low-luxury aesthetic concept of German furniture engineer Peter Rietveld. It integrates the development concepts of ecological customization and high-end customization, and always believes that only by letting go of material things can one better examine the self-concern deep in the heart.
