Description:

The INNIS01 is a Network Interface Slave Module (NIS) from ABB. It is a key component for the process control unit interface in INFI 90® systems. This module allows communication between the control unit and the INFI-NET data highway. It handles message transmission and reception across the plant network.

The module features a configurable node and loop address via dipswitches. It supports both 10 Mbaud and 2 Mbaud communication speeds. The front panel has 16 LEDs for displaying error codes and event counters. It is designed for reliable data exchange and integrates with the INNPM11 Network Processing Module.

This module enables communication between distributed process control units and other system nodes. It is used to create robust and redundant network architectures in industrial automation.
