1, Overview
Mainly used to test the peeling performance of coated sand, it
consists of a motor, funnel, heating plate, temperature controller,
sand receiving plate, timer, etc.
It adopts an intelligent temperature controller to ensure the temperature stability of the heating plate. Electronic digital display timer, automatic control. Compliant with JB/T 8583-2007 standard.
Principle: Weigh 450g of coated sand sample and place it in a sand
hopper. There is a reversible heating plate directly below the sand
hopper. The set temperature of the heating plate is generally
between 160 ℃ and 300 ℃, which can be determined according to the
actual working temperature of the factory shell machine, or set to
232 ℃ according to the standard for measuring the bending strength
of coated sand samples. When the heating plate reaches the set
temperature, add the coated sand into the funnel, and the coated
sand will leak onto the heating plate. After 60 seconds of
activation, the heating plate will automatically flip 180 degrees.
The film coated sand that has not undergone bonding falls onto the
sand receiving tray. Pour out these coated sands, record the weight
W1 of the coated sands at this time, and maintain the position and
temperature of the heating plate. If the coated sand undergoes
shell shedding, record the weight of the shell shedding sand as W2.
Result calculation method:
Shedding rate (%) δ={W2/(450-W1)} × 100
Curing rate g%=(450-W1-W2)/450 × 100
In the formula, δ represents the molting rate of the coated sand
(%);
W1- Weight of poured coated sand (g);
W2- Weight of shelled sand (g).
