Founded in 2012, SMK is a professional manufacturer dedicated to the research, development, and production of gas detectors and safety alarm systems for both residential and industrial applications. Since its establishment, SMK has focused on delivering reliable, compliant, and innovative safety solutions to global B2B partners, including distributors, brand owners, project contractors, and OEM/ODM clients.

Our core product portfolio includes carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, gas leak detectors, and combination alarms, all designed to meet strict international safety and performance requirements. Every product is CE, SGS,TÜV,ROHS, INTERTEK and UKCA certified, ensuring compliance with major global markets and providing our partners with confidence in quality, reliability, and regulatory approval. With a strong commitment to long-term cooperation, SMK offers stable supply, consistent quality control, and responsive customer service to support our clients’ business growth.

SMK places great emphasis on independent innovation and R&D capability. As of August 2023, the company operates five advanced production lines, employs over 220 skilled professionals, and maintains 15 dedicated R&D teams. Our manufacturing facility covers more than 5,000 square meters, supported by a complete in-house SMT system and professional product testing infrastructure. These include smoke test aging machines, carbon monoxide testers, and a fully equipped combustible gas test room, enabling strict quality control from component placement to final product validation. To date, SYMANK holds 25 domestic patents and 3 European patents, reflecting our strong technical foundation and continuous innovation.

The story of SMK began with our founder, Mr. Zhong, a professional electrical engineer with deep industry expertise. In 2009, he established his first company focusing on carbon monoxide alarms and natural gas/LPG detectors. Starting with a team of just 50 employees, the company quickly grew in response to strong domestic and international demand. Early models such as JKD-616 and JKD-512COM remain popular in the market today, demonstrating the durability and reliability of our product design.

As the company developed, SMK continuously upgraded its technology and expanded its product range. By 2018, our product lineup had grown to 12 models, prompting a move into a new four-story factory exceeding 5,000 square meters, with a daily output capacity of over 10,000 alarms. Under Mr. Zhong’s leadership, SYMANK successfully expanded into home alarms, industrial detectors, NB-IoT solutions, and WiFi smart detectors, supported by a full set of imported automated production equipment.

Looking to the future, SMK achieved another milestone in 2023 with the opening of a new production base in Zhongshan City, covering more than 20,000 square meters. Each floor operates as an independent, integrated system, featuring dust-free and explosion-proof production lines. This new base further optimizes production efficiency, quality assurance, and scalability, positioning SMK for long-term global expansion.
