Precautions for Use
1.Control the quality and quantity of refrigerant and refrigeration
oil: The refrigerant must be R134a that meets the standard. The use
of inferior refrigerant is strictly prohibited, otherwise it will
corrode the internal components of the compressor and reduce the
refrigeration effect. Refrigeration oil should be added in
accordance with the specifications. It should neither be too little
to cause insufficient lubrication and component wear, nor too much
to result in excessive air conditioning pressure and reduced
refrigeration efficiency. When replacing the compressor, the
corresponding amount of refrigeration oil should be replenished
simultaneously to avoid omissions.
2.When replacing, make sure to clean the system and check the
accessories: If the compressor needs to be replaced, thoroughly
clean the entire system including the air conditioning pipeline and
evaporator first. If there is iron powder or blackened impurities
in the pipeline, it is recommended to replace the condenser
simultaneously. This is because the heat dissipation fins of the
condenser are in a parallel structure and are difficult to clean
thoroughly. The residual impurities will circulate into the new
compressor and cause damage. At the same time, the dryer needs to
be replaced to prevent impurities and moisture in the old dryer
from affecting the operation of the new compressor.
3.Pay attention to the operating status on a daily basis: If
abnormal sounds or vibrations are detected from the compressor
during use, or if the cooling effect of the air conditioner
suddenly drops, timely maintenance is required. Abnormal noises may
be caused by mechanical issues such as internal bearing wear and
loose pulleys, while poor cooling may be related to abnormal
compressor pressure and refrigerant leakage. Timely troubleshooting
can prevent minor faults from escalating into complete compressor
damage.
4.Avoid improper operation to increase load: When the vehicle is
idling, try to avoid keeping the maximum cooling mode on for a long
time. At this time, the engine speed is low and the load on the
compressor is relatively large. If this continues for a long time,
it will easily increase the burden on the engine and may also cause
the compressor to overheat. In addition, do not forcibly turn on
the air conditioner when the air conditioning system malfunction
(such as pipeline leakage) has not been repaired, to prevent the
compressor from running dry and burning out due to lack of
refrigerant or insufficient lubrication.
Regular professional maintenance: It is recommended that during the regular vehicle maintenance, the
maintenance personnel check the pressure of the air conditioning
system and the tension of the compressor belt. If the belt is
loose, it should be adjusted in time. At the same time,
professional equipment is used to check whether there is any
leakage in the system to avoid compressor failure due to system
abnormalities in advance.
