This China made Bobbin/ yellow pill is develop according to Halkey Robert Bobbin V80040, fit for used in HR Alpha Inflator V90000.

Used for automatic inflatable lifejacket to inflate the CO2 gas into the chamber. When it meets the water, bobbin will affect and make the device work to inflate the CO2 gas into the chamber. Also, it can use as manual one to pull the line to firing the device.

They dissolve when immersed in water and cause the CO2 cylinder to inflate the PFD & life jacket &life vest

once the automatic device just use one time and you need replace another one for the next time.

Main function:

This Bobbin is designed to disintegrate when exposed to water. This allows the firing mechanism to puncture the CO2 cylinder and fill the inflatable chamber.

Installation:

Install Bobbin Assembly with the white pill facing the cap of the inflator, 1. The Bobbin Assembly will slide in easily if installed correctly.

How to replace the bibbin?

Just Screw out the base of automatic device, take off the used bobbin, and put into the new bobbin, then screw tight the base is OK, see below picture:
