Introduction

The 5052 bright-annealed aluminum sheet (1.2–1.8 mm thickness, 1000–2200 mm custom width, H32 bright annealed BA finish) is the UK/EU automotive standard for lightweight, Class-A door inner panels.

• Alloy 5052-H32 BA: 2.5 % Mg → 35 % stronger than 6016, superb 180° hemming.

• Bright annealed mill finish: Ra < 0.15 μm, zero Lüders lines, ready for adhesive bonding.

• Extra-wide coil + EDF < 0.3 mm: perfect flatness after stamping.
  Result: door inners that save 4.5 kg per door, survive 200 % elongation hemming, and enable glue-only assembly for EV platforms.
