Q1: What exactly does this part measure?
A1: This probe senses the distance (gap) between its tip and a nearby conductive target (e.g., a shaft). The output of the entire transducer system

is a voltage proportional to that gap, which allows you to monitor static displacement (position) and dynamic displacement

(vibration) of rotating equipment. The high‑temperature (ETR) variant lets you deploy it in

more demanding thermal environments.

Q2: Is this part an extension cable or a probe?
A2: This part is a probe (specifically, a 3300 XL 8 mm ETR probe). Some listings may label it as “Sensor Probe Cable” but based

on the official datasheet listing for 330191 it is a probe head with integral cable (9 m). The “90” in the part number

indicates 9.0 m total length option which includes the cable length.

Q3: I only need a cable, not a full probe. Could this part be used as a cable?
A3: No — this part is a probe with integral cable (9 m length). If you only need an extension cable to attach to a

separate probe, you should look at the extension‑cable part numbers in the 3300 XL family (for example
