15-5PH (UNS S15500) stainless steel is a precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel offering high strength, hardness, and corrosion resistance. It maintains excellent mechanical properties up to 600°F (315°C) and shows superior transverse toughness compared to 17-4PH due to its refined microstructure.

Both cold-rolled and hot-rolled 15-5PH stainless steel sheets and plates are widely used in aerospace, chemical, and mechanical applications requiring high strength and toughness.
