1.Material: Polyester (PET)

Low Creep (Critical): The essential property for this strength class. It ensures the geogrid will not stretch

significantly over decades under these extreme loads, guaranteeing the structure's long-term integrity (75-100+ year design life).

High Tensile Modulus: It is very stiff, resisting elongation under load to minimize deformation.

Durability: Excellent resistance to chemical and biological degradation in soil.

2.Structure: Uniaxial

Despite the high transverse strength, this is still a uniaxial geogrid.

The primary function is to carry load in one direction.

The ribs in the longitudinal direction are the main load-bearing elements.

Why the Higher Transverse Strength PET Geogrid(50 vs. 30) Matters?

Enhanced Durability & Damage Resistance: The higher transverse strength makes the geogrid

more robust against installation damage (e.g., from sharp rocks or equipment).

It is less likely to tear or be compromised during backfilling and compaction.

Uniaxial Polyester Geogrids Applications:

This geogrid is not for standard projects; it is reserved for mega-scale and critical reinforcement:

Very Tall Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Walls: This is the primary application.

It is used for walls exceeding 12-15 meters (40-50 feet) in height, and often for walls over 30 meters (100 feet). Examples include:

Highway interchanges and bridge abutments in mountainous terrain.

Retaining walls for port and harbor facilities.

Noise barrier walls along major transportation corridors.

Extremely Steep Slopes: Reinforcing slopes at angles that would be impossible with natural soil,

often in challenging environments where space is severely constrained.

Landfill Infrastructure: Reinforcing the steep sides of modern landfills and supporting heavy liner systems.

Major Infrastructure Support: Used in foundations and support systems for large structures built on or near unstable slopes.
