8-strand PP marine rope is a synthetic rope constructed by braiding eight strands of polypropylene monofilament or multifilament fibers . It is a hollow-braided rope , which is a common construction for marine dock lines. The rope is designed for various marine and industrial uses, including mooring, towing, and fishing operations .
