Mindray C5-2E Curved Array transducer Convex Probe For DC-8 DC-7 Ultrasound Systems
Overall Introduction
This product is a convex array ultrasound transducer (Model: C5-2E) designed for body surface examinations across multiple clinical specialties. The probe features an ergonomic, lightweight design with a comfortable grip that reduces operator fatigue during prolonged scanning procedures. Its convex head architecture enables extended anatomical coverage, making it particularly effective for imaging deep-seated structures.
The transducer features a locking handle connector that ensures secure attachment to the ultrasound system. The probe head incorporates an optimized acoustic lens for efficient ultrasound transmission and reception, with IPX7 waterproof rating allowing the transducer head to be safely immersed in disinfectant solutions for rigorous infection control.

Once the ultrasonic diagnostic system is powered on, complete the following checks:
1. During operation, the acoustic lens of the transducer must not produce abnormal heat. Check the temperature of the transducer by hand to confirm it is within the normal range.
2. No abnormal images should appear when the system is starting up.
For cleaning operations, refer to the instructions in the product manual and follow the cleaning policies and procedures of your hospital.
1. Disconnect the probe from the system.
2. Put on sterile gloves to prevent infection.
3. Clean the transducer with clean water or soapy water to remove all foreign matter, or gently wipe it with a soft urethane sponge. Do not use a brush, as it may damage the transducer surface.
4. After rinsing, dry the transducer with a sterile cloth or gauze. Do not dry the transducer using any heating method.
