Polypropylene (PP) Mist Eliminator pad is a common type among plastic demister pad. It is made of PP knitted wire mesh and gratings. Working principle
1.When the gas rises at a constant speed through the mist eliminator pad, due to the inertia of the rising gas, the gas collides with the woven mesh and adheres to the surface of the filament.

2.The diffusion of gas on the surface of the filament and the gravitational settling of gas result in the formation of larger droplets along the filament to the junction of two filaments.

3.The wettability of the feed inlet fibers, the surface tension of the liquid, and the capillary action of the fibers make the droplets larger and larger.

4.When the droplet is too large, its own gravity exceeds the lift of the gas, the combined force of the liquid and surface tension, and the droplet will detach from the filament.
