Description:

The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor Seismic Monitor is a four-channel device that protects machinery. It takes signals from proximity and seismic sensors. The monitor processes these signals to measure vibration and position. It then compares these measurements to user-set alarm points to trigger warnings.

Each of the four channels can be set up to monitor different machine conditions. These include radial vibration, acceleration, eccentricity, thrust position, differential expansion, and velocity. The setup is done using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software.

For every active measurement, the user can set an "alert" alarm level. For any two of these measurements, a more serious "danger" alarm level can also be set. This allows the monitor to provide essential machine information to both operations and maintenance teams for safe and reliable operation.
