PROFILE
FEISPARTIC FW5502 is a solvent-free water-based polyaspartic resin
with secondary amine groups that can react with -NCO. The resin has
self-emulsification function.
PROPERTY
- High solid content, low viscosity, self-emulsification, and can be
dispersed and emulsified in water.
- Good UV resistance, no yellowing or powdering, long-lasting gloss
and color, can be used indoors and outdoors.
- Reaction speed is moderate and can be dried to form a film without
adding film-forming aids.
- High cross-linking density, high hardness, good water resistance,
abrasion resistance and solvent resistance.
APPLICATIONS
- FEISPARTIC FW5502 is a solvent-free water-dispersible product
similar to water-dispersible isocyanate hardener. It can be used to
prepare a water-dispersible coating. In the preparation process,
Part A of this coating can be directly added with pigments and
fillers for grinding and dispersion without emulsification. During
use, waterdispersible isocyanate and water are added for dispersion
and emulsification to improve the storage stability of the
coating..
- FEISPARTIC FW5502 is suitable for three-component coatings. It
consists of three components: water-based polyaspartic resin,
water-dispersible isocyanate and resin-free water-based slurry. Add
the three components together and mix evenly, then add appropriate
amount of water to adjust the viscosity before use.
- Low viscosity and moderate reaction speed and can be used to
produce low-VOC, zero-VOC and odorless water based coatings.
- High cross-linking density, high hardness, good abrasion resistance
and water resistance, can be used in the preparation of water-based
topcoat coatings.

SHELF LIFE
FEISPARTIC FW5502 must be stored in airtight containers to prevent
contact with moisture. Recommended storage temperature is below
40°C (≤104°F). The shelf life of FEISPARTIC FW5502 in the closed
original container is 12 months.
NOTICE
- FEISPARTIC FW5502 is combustible and should be stored at the
temperature below 40 ℃. It should be kept away from fire source and
stored in a cool, dry and ventilated environment. The storage
period is 12 months.
- The coating formulated with FEISPARTIC FW5502 should be tested for
performance after one week’s maintenance.

Feiyang’s 26,000-Ton Polyaspartic Resin Expansion Project Completed
In July 2023, Feiyang launched the design and construction of a new
26,000-ton polyaspartic materials project. Upon full operation, the
project will raise Feiyang’s total resin production capacity to
46,000 tons. It has significantly upgraded the original
polyaspartic resin production process by establishing a fully
automated production line that integrates raw material storage,
manufacturing, and packaging. As a result, labor requirements have
been reduced by 50%, while output per employee has doubled. In
addition, the upgraded production line now enables the direct
production of high-purity bio-based polyaspartic polyurea resin.
