This project is a fully automated aluminum anodizing and electrophoretic coating production line designed for high-quality surface treatment of automotive aluminum components. The system adopts a multi-tank automated immersion process layout combined with an efficient transfer system, enabling stable, high-throughput operation from loading to final unloading.
The production line integrates a complete process chain, including pre-treatment, anodizing, electrolytic coloring, electrophoretic coating, sealing, drying, and curing processes. The pre-treatment section incorporates degreasing, ultrasonic cleaning, alkaline etching, chemical/electro polishing, neutralization, and multiple rinsing stages to ensure optimal surface preparation and consistent film quality prior to anodizing.
The anodizing section is equipped with multiple high-capacity anodizing tanks (approximately 4300L each), supported by circulation filtration systems, plate heat exchangers, industrial chillers, and PVDF circulation pumps. These systems ensure precise temperature control, stable electrolyte conditions, and uniform oxide film formation required for automotive-grade surface finishing.
For surface finishing enhancement, the line includes electrolytic coloring and electrophoretic coating processes to achieve consistent appearance, improved corrosion resistance, enhanced weather resistance, and long-term surface durability. The electrophoretic coating section is integrated with ultrafiltration (UF) systems, refining systems, recovery systems, and curing ovens to ensure stable coating quality and efficient paint utilization.
The sealing section supports optional cold sealing, medium-temperature sealing, or hot sealing processes depending on product performance requirements. Combined with multi-stage DI water rinsing, the process significantly improves corrosion resistance, contamination resistance, and coating durability for automotive applications.
In addition, the line is supported by a comprehensive water treatment and recycling infrastructure, including pure water generation systems with quartz sand and activated carbon filtration, ultrafiltration units, refining systems, and water recovery systems. Classified wastewater collection systems for acidic, alkaline, fluoride-containing, and electrophoresis wastewater ensure environmental compliance and sustainable operation in accordance with automotive industry standards.
The production line is equipped with high-performance auxiliary systems, including filtration units (30–40 T/H), plate heat exchangers, industrial cooling systems, centralized electrical control systems, and automated transfer mechanisms. The layout also incorporates buffer stations, maintenance platforms, transfer carts, and operator access pathways to optimize production efficiency, equipment maintenance, and plant management.
