The Olympus CLE-4U is a halogen cold light source designed for flexible endoscopes such as gastrointestinal endoscopes and bronchoscopes. As a cold light source, its core function is to provide high-brightness, stable light, transmitted via fiber optics to the endoscope to illuminate the inside of the body cavity, ensuring the surgeon has a clear field of vision for the procedure or examination. Features:

- Halogen light source, low cost: Uses a 15V/150W halogen lamp, which is cheaper than later xenon lamps, and replacement costs are also lower, saving money.

- Automatic exposure: Automatic and manual dimming can be switched via the AUTO/MANUAL switch on the front panel. In automatic mode, it instantly adjusts the light intensity according to the brightness of the endoscopic image, preventing overexposure and allowing the doctor to operate manually without distraction.
