Self-lubricating PTFE Lined Angular Contact Thrust Joint Bearing
GE..AW
GE..A bearings are thrust joint bearings engineered to withstand
unidirectional axial loads or combined loads. Featuring
self-aligning capabilities, these bearings are ideal for low-speed
swing applications under heavy load conditions. The design includes
a flat-bottomed seat with lubricating oil holes on the inner ring
and a spherical outer ring structure that effectively compensates
for installation errors and structural deformations.

GE..AW is equivalent to GX..TMaterial Specifications
Both inner and outer rings are manufactured from carbon chromium
steel with hardening treatment for enhanced durability. The outer
race sliding surface features PTFE fabric lining, while the inner
ring's spherical surface is hard chrome plated for superior
performance.
Product Features
- Load Capacity: Capable of withstanding both large radial loads and unidirectional
axial loads simultaneously
- Alignment Angle: Allows for deviation compensation (typically 1°-4.5°) to
accommodate installation errors and structural deformations
- Operating Conditions: Suitable for low-speed swinging and reciprocating motion, not
recommended for high-speed rotation
- Maintenance-Free: Built-in PTFE lubrication layer eliminates the need for additional
lubrication, enabling long-term maintenance-free operation

Application Information
Where is this bearing used?
Construction machinery: excavator arm connections, loader steering
knuckles; Automotive systems: balance bridge suspensions, steering
rod joints; Agricultural machinery: harvester transmission arms,
tractor suspension devices; Industrial equipment: welding robot
joints, rotary table support points.
Why choose spherical plain bearings?
These bearings offer excellent impact resistance, dust resistance,
and lubrication-free operation, significantly enhancing machine
lifetime and reliability.
How to choose the correct bearing size?
Select according to inner diameter, which determines the shaft
diameter where the bearing will be installed.
Installation Guidelines
- Align Installation Direction: Ensure proper alignment of inner and outer rings, paying attention
to lubrication grooves or positioning marks as per drawing
requirements
- Use Specialized Tools for Press Fit: Apply uniform force to the inner ring end face using a press or
hydraulic device with a sleeve (when inner ring is tightly fitted
with shaft). Never transmit installation force through the outer
ring or rolling elements to prevent sliding surface damage
- Control Pressing Speed and Force: Slowly press in to avoid deformation of the inner ring or peeling
of the chrome plating layer caused by impact loads
- Bidirectional Load Applications: For equipment requiring bidirectional axial force, install two
GAC.T bearings back-to-back or face-to-face in pairs with
consistent preload force
Purchasing Guide
Environmental Adaptability Considerations: For humid environments, select reinforced sealing types (such as
GAC.T-SL). For strong corrosive environments, consider custom
stainless steel materials or specialized coatings to ensure optimal
performance and longevity.
