The PM MT/MPO is a multi-fiber polarization-maintaining (PM) assembly designed specifically for PM fiber systems. It supports various fiber count configurations—including 8F, 12F, and 16F—and is suitable for operation across multiple wavelength bands, such as 405nm, 460nm, 650nm, 780/850nm, 980/1064nm, and 1310/1550nm. Utilizing PM405, PM460, PM630, PM780, PM980, PM1300, or PM1550 fibers, this product meets the requirements for multi-channel parallel transmission, PM interconnection, and high-density integration applications. The device features low insertion loss and stable polarization-maintaining performance; depending on the specific wavelength band, insertion loss can be as low as 1.6dB, extinction ratio can reach up to 22dB, and return loss achieves 45dB for PC finishes and 55dB for APC finishes. Consequently, it is ideally suited for systems demanding high channel uniformity and polarization stability.
