Continuous Filtration Filter Press Machine Smooth Start-up Reasonable Energy Consumption
Brief Description
Supports continuous filtration operation for extended periods. The start-up and shutdown process is smooth, avoiding water hammer or pressure surges. Energy consumption is reasonably controlled, aligning with green manufacturing principles. Suitable for continuous production processes requiring a stable water supply, such as in the food and beverage and biological agent industries.

Product Overview
Our Rotary Drum Micro-screen is a high-efficiency, self-cleaning filtration system crafted to extract fine suspended solids, fibers and particulate contaminants in tertiary wastewater treatment, water reuse and industrial process operations. Leveraging a continuously rotating drum covered with precision micro-screen panels, it maintains consistent high-quality filtrate production with minimal operator attention, standing out as the ideal solution for complying with strict effluent discharge standards efficiently.
Working Principle
The horizontal rotary drum filter operates by drawing influent water into its open end for internal distribution, with low static hydraulic head driving outward flow through fine mesh or wedge wire screens to separate and retain solids on the inner surface. As the drum turns slowly, the trapped solids are lifted clear of the water, and high-pressure spray nozzles fed with clean filtrate dislodge the solids into an internal collection trough at the drum’s highest point. The filtered, clarified water is collected in the outer effluent chamber, and the rinsed solids are transferred for final disposal.

Key Design & Performance Features
1. Simple structure with smooth operation, easy maintenance, and
long service life.
2. High-capacity, efficient filtration, achieving over 80% recovery
rate for fine suspended solids in wastewater.
3. Compact footprint, cost-effective operation, low-speed running
with automatic protection, and easy installation.
4. Fully automated and continuous operation requiring no dedicated
personnel; capable of discharging filter cake with a solids
concentration exceeding 12%.
5. Can serve as an alternative to coarse filtration equipment such
as mechanical bar screens.
Applications
Engineered for solid-liquid separation in varied industrial wastewater flows, the micro-screen effectively captures fine particles larger than approximately 0.25 mm. This pretreatment equipment is widely applied in papermaking, tanning, slaughterhouse, brewing, printing-dyeing, textile and chemical industries. It is particularly optimal for papermaking white water to achieve closed-loop recycling and resource reuse.
