GCr15 steel has low alloy content and good performance. It is currently the most widely used bearing steel. It has excellent properties such as uniform structure, high hardness, high wear resistance and contact fatigue strength, and good hot workability after quenching and tempering at low temperature.

From the perspective of application categories, steel balls can be divided into two categories: wear-resistant steel balls in the crushing industry and bearing steel balls in the precision bearing industry.
