Description
The cable construction involves arranging fibers within a loose tube of high modulus plastic, filled with a
water-resistant compound. A non-metallic FRP serves as the central strength member in the core. The
tubes, along with fillers, form a compact circular cable core around the strength member. Following this,
a corrugated steel tape is applied, and an inner sheath is added. Subsequently, a layer of PSP is introd-
uced around the inner sheath. This section, accompanied by stranded wires as the supporting component,
is then completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath, creating a figure 8 structure. This design is specifically
tailored for self-supporting aerial installations, ensuring durability and functionality in various conditions.
