• Function

1.Sealing: When the engine is working, high - temperature and high - pressure gas is generated in the combustion chamber. The piston ring closely fits the cylinder wall to prevent the gas from leaking into the crankcase, controlling the gas leakage to a minimum, and improving the thermal efficiency of the engine. If gas leaks, the engine's power will decrease, and the oil will deteriorate, affecting the engine's performance and service life.

2.Oil Regulation: The oil ring in the piston ring can scrape off the excess lubriing oil on the cylinder wall to prevent too much oil from entering the combustion chamber and participating in combustion, avoiding the phenomenon of "oil burning". At the same time, it can leave a thin and uniform oil film on the cylinder wall, reducing the friction between the piston, piston ring, and cylinder wall, reducing wear, and making the engine run more smoothly.
