The Battery Small Parts Test Cylinder is a stainless-steel measuring device designed to assess whether batteries and similar components may present a swallowing or choking hazard for children under 36 months. It is manufactured in strict accordance with IEC 60335-1:2013 (Clause 22.12, Figure 13) and ISO 8124-1 (Clause 5.2, Figure 22) standards.

Testing Method

Insert the test object into the cylinder from any orientation:
If the battery or part can fully enter and touch the bottom, it is classified as a small part and considered a potential choking hazard.
If it cannot reach the bottom, it passes the dimensional safety requirement.
